Social Work, B.S. (SPS Online Partnership)

A partially online bachelor's degree in social work is offered in a partnership between Saint Louis University's School of Social Work and School for Professional Studies (SPS).

Learn About SLU's B.S. in Social Work

Students take core courses (57 credits), elective courses (24 credits) and up to three social work courses (six credits) through the School for Professional Studies. 

After the social work courses and a minimum of 60 credits are completed through the School for Professional Studies, students apply to the School of Social Work as a social work major. After completing 90 credits through the School for Professional Studies, accepted students will transfer to the School of Social Work to complete the junior- and senior-level social work courses to obtain their BSSW.
