Saint Louis University's Russian and East European Area Studies minor provides students with an interdisciplinary understanding of the former Soviet Union and Central and Eastern Europe, combining language, literature, politics, history, theology, communication, and other subjects.

Students earn a minor in addition to one or more departmental majors and are prepared for careers in government, business, and academic fields, as well as for graduate study in the field.

Students must maintain a 2.30 minimum cumulative GPA in Russian East European Area Studies coursework in order to continue in the minor.
