Off-Campus Enrollment
Off-campus courses (after matriculation) are courses taken after a student has begun their studies at Saint Louis University that are offered or completed at a location other than St. Louis, Madrid or an approved study abroad/away location.
Students are limited to nine (9) credits of off-campus coursework taken after their first semester.
- Off-campus courses taken before fall 2025 do not count toward the nine-credit-hour limit of off-campus courses.
- Courses taken at SLU-approved study abroad locations do not count toward the nine-credit-hour limit of off-campus courses.
- Exceptions for other study abroad/away may apply. Please email registrar@slu.edu with your request.
To enroll in course work off-campus courses students must submit completed Petition for Undergraduate Off-Campus Enrollment or Petition for Graduate Off-Campus Enrollment and upon completion of off-campus courses students will forward, from the off-campus institution, no later than the first week of the following semester either:
- A sealed official transcript, to the Office of the University Registrar, One Grand Blvd. St. Louis, MO 63103 or
- An official electronic transcript to registrar@slu.edu.
