Sogang University, Global Pathway Program

The Sogang Global Pathway Program (GPP) is designed to support international students who wish to study at Saint Louis University but may need additional preparation in areas like language proficiency, academic skills, and cultural adaptation. Through the Global Pathway Program, students can build a solid academic foundation in a supportive environment before they begin their full degree programs at SLU. The GPP also provides an immersive cultural experience, allowing students to integrate into American society while developing cross-cultural competencies that are essential for succeeding in a globalized world. Sogang students eligible for direct transfer application into SLU Year 2 must have:   

• 3.0 + GPA in the Sogang GPP  

• TOEFL IBT of 80+ OR 6.5 IELTS OR Duolingo 110+ OR English Testing Waiver with A- minimum in all English courses (SGP 1002 & SGP 1005) 

Sogang students eligible for University Transfer Program (UTP) at SLU must have:  

• 2.5 + GPA in the Sogang GPP  

• TOEFL 60 – 79+ OR 5.5 IELTS OR Duolingo 90-105 OR English Testing Waiver with B- minimum in all English courses (SGP 1002 & SGP 1005)
