Political Science, Bachelor's to M.A. Accelerated Program

Saint Louis University's Bachelor of Arts/Master of Arts in Political Science and Public Affairs offers students the opportunity to complete the B.A. and M.A. degrees in an accelerated five-year, 135-credit program of study (120 as an undergraduate and 30 as a post-baccalaureate student, with 15 of those credits counted toward both degrees).

Admission Requirements

Undergraduate political science majors at SLU with an undergraduate grade point average (GPA) of at least 3.40, overall and in political science courses, may apply to this accelerated program through an expedited admission process that requires no fee or national board test scores.  

Students may apply as early as the spring semester of their sophomore year, although applications will be considered up to the student's final semester of undergraduate work.
