Lincoln University Bachelor's to Cybersecurity, M.S.

Students in the Accelerated Lincoln Bachelor's to SLU's Master of Science in Cybersecurity degree program have the opportunity to take classes for the M.S. at Saint Louis University while they are finishing their bachelor's at Lincoln University in Jefferson City, Missouri. Select SLU credits may also fulfill the requirements of the Lincoln Bachelor's degree.

Students who meet the requirements will be guaranteed classified admission to the SLU's master's program.

Lincoln University Programs  

Cybersecurity, M.S.

Students must apply to the accelerated program no earlier than their third/junior year at Lincoln University in Jefferson City, Missouri. Students will select the admit term of the first semester they will be a Cybersecurity M.S. student and indicate they are applying as part of an approved accelerated program. 

Students must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher and a major GPA of 3.5 or higher at Lincoln. Students should have obtained a B or better in any research methods or statistics course at Lincoln before applying to the M.S. in Cybersecurity. 

Lincoln undergraduate students can take a maximum of 12 master's credits their senior year and may apply up to 12 of those credits toward the B.A. or B.S. at Lincoln, with permission from their home program. 

To be eligible for progression into the M.S. in Cybersecurity program upon conferral of the bachelor's at Lincoln, students:

  • Must maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher at Lincoln.
  • Must have a 3.5 overall major GPA at Lincoln.
  • Must have attained a B or better in the SLU M.S. courses they took while a Lincoln student.

Students who do not meet the standards above may be required to reapply for the Cybersecurity M.S. program and submit supplemental materials that may improve the probability of admission. 

Roadmaps are recommended semester-by-semester plans of study for programs and assume full-time enrollment unless otherwise noted.  

Courses and milestones designated as critical (marked with !) must be completed in the semester listed to ensure a timely graduation. Transfer credit may change the roadmap.

This roadmap should not be used in the place of regular academic advising appointments. All students are encouraged to meet with their advisor/mentor each semester. Requirements, course availability and sequencing are subject to change.
