Accounting, B.S.B.A. to Accounting, M.Acc. Accelerated Program
Saint Louis University's accelerated Accounting, B.S.B.A. to Accounting, M.Acc. program is designed for students who demonstrate academic success in the accounting major and related coursework.
This accelerated program allows accounting majors to complete up to 15 graduate-level credits and have these credits count toward their undergraduate degree. This accelerated program enables accounting students to obtain their Accounting, B.S.B.A. and M.Acc. degrees in four and a half years (required minimum of 135 total credit hours). This innovative structure provides students with a more seamless and efficient pathway to better prepare for the CPA exam and enhance their career prospects by earning a master’s degree, thereby providing a robust educational foundation for students to succeed in a competitive and demanding field..
Students apply to the accelerated program during their junior year, and accepted students begin graduate coursework during their senior year. Students retain undergraduate status, financial aid and tuition rates until their undergraduate degree is conferred. At that time, students attain official graduate student status, pay graduate tuition and become eligible for graduate scholarships.
