Health Sciences, B.S. to Health Administration, M.H.A. Accelerated Program
Saint Louis University’s accelerated Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences to Master of Health Administration (M.H.A.) pathway is designed for motivated students who are interested in leadership, management, and making an impact in the health care system.
The Health Sciences curriculum offers a flexible and customizable foundation that allows you to explore your interests while building a strong understanding of health care systems, population health, and the factors that influence patient outcomes. Through a combination of core coursework and electives, you can tailor your academic experience to align with your career goals while preparing for graduate study.
This accelerated pathway gives you the opportunity to begin M.H.A. coursework during your senior year, allowing you to save time and reduce the overall cost of earning your graduate degree. You will develop the knowledge and skills needed for careers in health care administration, leadership, and organizational management.
Graduates of this pathway are prepared for roles in hospitals, health systems, and community organizations, including positions in operations management, health care consulting, quality improvement, patient experience, and health services coordination. The program also provides a strong foundation for leadership development and long-term career advancement in the evolving health care landscape.
Students apply to the accelerated program during their junior year. If accepted, you will begin taking graduate-level courses in your senior year while maintaining undergraduate status, financial aid, and tuition rates. After completing your bachelor’s degree, you will transition to full graduate status, pay graduate tuition, and become eligible for graduate assistantship opportunities.
