The University acts in accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act of 1998, which protects online theft of copyright holders by federal law. It covers any copyrighted intellectual property and prevents sharing or re-creation of that work without a license or permission from the copyright holder.
Saint Louis University faculty, staff, and students should understand that the University's Information Technology Services department has the right to monitor, view, obtain, block, prohibit, and the like any transmission or use of information via the University technology services and equipment.
Saint Louis University may terminate access and exercise disciplinary or other correctional measures for any copyright infringement claim. Infringements include repeated claims, violations, or misuse of the University's information systems equipment, network connections, or services.
