French, Minor

Saint Louis University's French minor explores both language and culture through required courses and electives dedicated to literature, cinema, food, politics science and more. 

French students must complete a minimum of 18 credit hours for the minor regardless of whether they start at FREN 2010 Intermediate French Language & Culture or later. No more than six related hours conducted in English will be counted toward the French minor.

All French minor courses must be completed with a grade of C or higher in order to count for the minor and for the student to continue in the minor.
