Social Work, B.S.W. (Fontbonne University) to Social Work, M.S.W.
Students in the accelerated Fontbonne Bachelor of Social Work to SLU Master of Social Work have the opportunity to take classes for the M.S.W. at SLU while they are finishing their B.S.W. at Fontbonne. Students can choose the clinical concentration or the community and organization concentration in the Master of Social Work.
Students may register for classes online or on campus, and once graduated from Fontbonne, may complete the Master of Social Work online or on campus. Students may take up to 12 credits at Saint Louis University as a Fontbonne University student and apply up to 12 SLU M.S.W. credits toward the B.S.W. at Fontbonne University.

Admission Requirements
Students seeking admittance to the accelerated program must apply no later than February 1 of their third/junior year at Fontbonne University. Students will select the admit term of the first semester of their M.S.W. and indicate they are applying as part of an approved accelerated program.
Students must have a cumulative GPA of 3.00 or higher and a major GPA of 3.20 or higher at Fontbonne University. Students must also have attained a grade of B or better in the following courses at Fontbonne University:
- SWK 350 Generalist Practice II: Individuals and Families (3 credits)
- SWK 351 Generalist Practice III: Communities, Groups, and Organizations (3 credits)
- SWK 370 Research and Social Work Practice (3 credits)
- SWK 381 Professional Development for Social Work Practice (1 credit)
Program Requirements
To be eligible for progression into the M.S.W. program upon conferral of the B.S.W., students must maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.00 or higher at Fontbonne while participating in the accelerated program.
Up to 15 credit hours of advanced standing may be waived for those students earning a B.S.W. from a CSWE-accredited undergraduate program and earning a grade of B or better in the undergraduate B.S.W. coursework that is comparable to the following M.S.W. generalist courses:

- SWRK 5725 Human Behavior & the Social Environment (3 cr)
- SWRK 5750 Social Work Practice with Individuals, Families, & Groups (3 cr)
- SWRK 5751 Social Work Practice with Communities & Organizations (3 cr)
- SWRK 5819 Foundation Integrative Practice Seminar (1 cr)
- SWRK 5841 Master of Social Work Foundation Practicum (2 cr)

Courses and milestones designated as critical (marked with !) must be completed in the semester listed to ensure a timely graduation. Transfer credit may change the roadmap.
